If you like mountaineering, even from your armchair, this is the best movie i've seen illustrating Mt. Everest and the North Face, and how difficult this climb really is. Conrad Anker does a marvelous job of narrating this adventure, and the camera work is fabulous. i would have liked another half hour of scenery and the climb, but it's great as it is. The fact that Anker and his climbing partner wore the same kind of clothing and apparatus as Mallory and Irvine demonstrates just how tough these people were. We couldn't do it today. Thank you for such a wonderful movie!!! i was transfixed throughout the entire 95 minutes!

This was a really nice film?great to see on the big screen for it's subject matter. The stories were really interesting. I have a whole new appreciation for Mallory and Irvine. One very high 'note' was the music. It was excellent and more interesting than what you would normally see in a documentary of that nature. Cinematography was impressive at times, but I guess I would have liked to have seen more interesting footage of everest. Given the challenges facing the crew, it's probably moot.
